Alterations and Additions to existing Strathfield Private Hospital

Development consent is sought for the following components:
▪ Demolition of existing single storey dwelling and associated buildings on 47A Wentworth Road;
▪ Tree removal;
▪ Alterations and Additions to existing Strathfield Private Hospital as follows:
o Lower Ground;
▪ Car park comprising of approximately 13 x new car spaces,
▪ Proposed back of house (BOH) area within the existing facility.
o Ground Floor;
▪ Ground floor car park comprising of 8 x new staff car spaces, new BOH area
within the existing facility, new loading dock bay and service area.
▪ Extension and refurbishment of Lower Ground Central Sterile Services
Department (CSSD) in compliance with AS4187.
o Level 1;
▪ Proposed ward extension with 13 x inpatient beds and support areas.
o Level 2;
▪ Two (2) proposed operating theatres with supporting stores and ancillary services
and staff lounges within the existing facility.
▪ Associated landscaping and stormwater drainage works.
