Remediation of the land to make the land suitable for commercial and industrial uses. This involves excavation and removal of buried gas works infrastructure & contaminated soil to landfill. Some soil will be treated onsite, reused and stabilised. The proposal also involves the installation of hardstand capping across part of the site. Remediation validation reporting and the implementation of environmental management controls is also proposed to manage potential exposure to residual contamination in shallow soil
