The proposal is seeking to insert a site-specific clause under the Parramatta LEP 2023 to allow additional 4.6:1 Floor Space Ratio for residential uses and a requirement for 15% affordable housing.
The site has an existing SSD Concept approval (SSD-49808717) for one commercial tower and one Build To Rent tower over a commercial podium. The revised proposal is intended to deliver two wholly Build To Rent towers with an affordable housing component, over a commercial podium. This would require an amendment to the existing SSD Concept Approval, as well as a detailed SSD application.
