Amendment 56 to Lake Macquarie Local Environmental Plan 2004
Lake Macquarie
Reclassify four parcels of land from community to operational land. One lot of privately owned land separates 3 of the lots from the other. All five lots are currently used as a public car park (158 car spaces). The land (zoned 3(1) Urban) within the commercial centre of Warners Bay, may be developed in accordance with the adopted Area Plan for the centre depending on futher investigations. Council are currently negotiating partnerships with potential private developers.Council wish to reclassify the land now, so that development, if deemed appropriate, can proceed once determined.
