Amendment of Height and FSR controls for 29-31 MacMahon St, Hurstville

The planning proposal seeks to amend various development controls under the Hurstville Local Environmental Plan 2012 (HLEP 2012) for 29-31 MacMahon St, Hurstville. Specifically, it seeks to: increase the maximum permissible building height on the site from 40m to 50m; increase the maximum permissible floor space ratio on the site from 4.5:1 to 5.5:1; and require a minimum floor space ratio of 0.5:1 for non-residential floor space on the site.The planning proposal applies to land zoned B4 Mixed Use under Hurstville LEP 2012. No change is proposed to the current zoning of the site. The subject site consists of three allotments along MacMahon Street, forming part of a block bounded by MacMahon Street, Park Road, Woodville Street and Barratt Street. The site is located within the City Centre North precinct (as identified within the Hurstville City Centre Concept Masterplan and DCP 2 - Hurstville City Centre (Amendment No. 6)).
