The landholder’s planning proposal request contended that parts of the existing homemaker complex remain vacant due to the limited range of land uses permissible in the B5 zone. The proponent, in making a planning proposal request to Council, had sought a broad range of land uses to be permitted on the land. The suitability of the site for these land uses was considered by the Council at its Ordinary Meeting of 27 June 2019.
