Parramatta Local Environmental Plan 2011 - Amendment - 163-165 George Street, Parramatta

The planning proposal is to rezone 163-165 George Street, Parramatta (the former Parramatta Workers Club) from zone RE2 Public Recreation to SP1 Special Uses (Place of Public Worship/ Educational Establishment) and the insertion of a Schedule 1 Additional permitted use provision or local clause to permit function centres, child care centres, community facilities, restaurant or cafe, and office premises with development consent, to enable the Hellenic Orthodox Community of Parramatta and Districts to provide a range of services and facilities to the community.
