Rezone land at Lot 100 DP 1140936 at Ewingsdale for the Byron Central Hospital

The planning Proposal seeks to rezone Lot 100 DP 1140936 on Ewingsdale Road, Byron Bay under the Byron LEP 1988, from 1(d) Investigation and 1(c2) Small Holdings (c2) to 5(a) Special Uses. This zone would potentially allow a new hospital to be constructed on site to service the Byron and Mullumbimby communities.The proposal would also permit the potential development of a Ambulance Station on the site which is listed as a Major Infrastructure Project in the State Infrastructure Strategy and incorporated into the Far North Coast Regional Strategy (FNCRS).
