The planning proposal seeks to clarify the intent of clause 6.5 of the Shoalhaven LEP 2014 (LEP) to allow the non-urban portion of land parcels zoned part urban/part non-urban to be subdivided apart from the urban release area (URA), creating a residual lot that would not be subject to the detailed planning requirements for URAs under Part 6 of the LEP.
