The purpose of the planning proposal is to rezone the land from R2 Low Density Residential to E4 General Industrial and amend associated planning controls/maps (min lot size, height, FSR & additional permitted uses) that apply under Fairfield LEP 2013 to accommodate employment uses on the subject site. Under the planning proposal the applicant has submitted concept plans associated with a proposed future motor vehicle showroom on the site, being a use permissible with development consent in the E4 zone.
