The proposal is to rezone surplus government land at Mooney Mooney from SP2 Hospital, SP2 Educational Establishment and RE1 Public Recreation to R1 General Residential, R2 Low Density Residential, B2 Local Centre, RE1 Public Recreation, E1 National Park and Nature Reserves and W2 Recreational Waterways. The proposal seeks to allow residential development, community facilities, a neighbourhood retail centre, recreation, a marina, relocation of existing emergency services facilities and addition of land to Popran National Park.
