Namoi Regional Job Precinct seeks to boost the area’s agriculture industry by streamlining the planning system and leveraging state and local government collaboration. Agriculture, particularly intensive livestock industry is key to the Namoi region’s continued economic success.
Adopting a collaborative and evidence-based approach, the vision for Namoi Regional Job Precinct (RJP) is to support high-potential agriculture sectors. The RJP targets intends to facilitate intensive livestock industry while managing land use conflict, generating economic growth and protecting the amenity of existing uses.
