1. Adverse impact on roads. I am concerned that the construction phase of the project will have a damaging effect on roads which in many instances are not of a sufficient standard to cope with the increase in traffic and heavy vehicle loads.
2. Potential danger to other road users due to the increase in traffic associated with the construction of the project.
3. The proximity of turbines to residential dwellings.
4. The potential devaluation in property values of land holdings in close proximity to those hosting turbines.
5. The absence of any mechanism whereby the developer is required to pay or lodge a decommissioning bond with respect to turbines.
6. The social division caused by this and other wind farm developments.
7. Ongoing concerns about noise from turbines.
