The subject land is adjacent to Farmlands that look like cropping Farmlands in the area. Cropping Farmlands.
EPBC Listed Remnant woodland & derived grassland is present.
The subject land is located within Murray catchment, on floodplains.
The Edward River is located around 2.3 kilometres west 'of the subject land.

I object to the Deniliquin Battery Energy storage system from going ahead because it will severely impact the lives of the residents and locals that live in the area for these reasons: The area they propose to build on is a bushfire prone area. It is also very close to bushfire management overlays in the catchment for the Kiewa River and in a farming zone. I also object because of the noise and environmental impact it will occur.

This is a completely inappropriate location for a BESS, it must be stopped.

Rural communities are becoming industrial energy hubs instead of agricultural areas. Leave food producing ag land for agriculture. leave farmer to do what they do best.
