As an artist who draws inspiration from the stunning natural beauty of natural, I am horrified by the prospect a turbines marring our landscape. The visual impact of these structures would be devastating, not only to the aesthetic value of our community but also to our local tourism industry, which relies heavily on visitors seeking unspoiled scenery and piece, quite , to camping, to enjoy the vast Plains, the flora and fauna.
The sight of these large scale industrial turbines would destroy the serene and picturesque environment that defines this area . Please consider the long-term visual and economic consequences of this project and reject the development plan.

I’m concerned with the environment. I attend a function recently and I was very pleased to see the wild plain (daisies) yam was holding on. It was now have a resurgence due to the abundance of rain we have had. I attached an example of daises on the Hay plains. These Daises were said to be abundant throughout the Riverina.
It is now being classified with the botanical Gardens.
It would be a shame for this to be totally wiped out.

As concerned Residence of agriculture there must be a better way to do things without consuming so much agricultural land.
These things are an eye saw. They are all over the place down in the Moyne Shire in Victoria.
Who pays for decommissioning?

we are very concerned with the wind farm being proposed in our area. They are a great endangerment to the plains-wanderer. A flightless ground dewing bird that can range over a 30 kilometre distance. It was known in many plains in Australia. Now they are only in the Riverina and Qld. The total estimated number of mature plains-wanderers in 2015 was less than 1,000. In 2020, that number was revised down to an estimated 250 mature birds left in the wild. Plains-wanderers have very large interaural canals and research has suggested they use this to communicate with one another, while evading being located by predators.
The infrasound that is created by the blade as they pass the base will inevitable interfering with this birds ability to commutate. The consequence will be no breed and rearing of young or being eaten by predators. This is unacceptable.

The FULL impact of this renewable project NEEDS an independent study. The natural resources required will far outweigh any POSSIBLE gain.
They don't work, they need base load power to run, they are unreliable, they are BS and a total scam on the Aussie taxpayer.
They are a blight on our natural environment

Spark renewables, another foreign controlled entity, have a track record of environmental destruction. This project is not in the public interest.

This project is yet another unreliable unsustainable project set up to mine subsidies and greenwashing funds from Australian tax payers, electricity consumers and superannuation funds. The community need only look at other regional communities to work out that there will be little to no local labour employed and all the 'benefits' of the project will flow directly to the directors and shareholders of Spark Renewables. Other communities have discovered that doing business with these foreign "renewable" energy companies is accompanied by either non payment of funds for goods and services or very slow payment of accounts.

Given the cost of materials and labour this project will likely be onsold many times to numerous other "renewable" energy companies thus the land hosts will find at the end of the day they are responsible for the rehabilitation of the land. NSW Premier Minns has been very clear: The land host is ultimately responsible for the decommissioning of the project and the rehabilitation of the land. When the subsidies dry up and the turbines disintegrate Spark Renewables will be long gone.

Meanwhile the environment has been destroyed: land clearing, habitat fragmentation, water polluted (bisphenol A from blade deterioration and run off), additional clearing for asset protections zones, unrecyclable waste and cement. The extensive water use for dust suppression, cement production and quarrying will likely severely impact on groundwater sources in the area.

This project if built will contribute to our energy and economic poverty. This project will not change our climate nor provide us with baseload power. This project is unreliable and environmentally destructive. This project will contribute to the extinction of threatened, vulnerable and protected native flora and fauna.

The mammoth amount of natural resources that go into construction, transportation and erection of these "renewable parks" has nothing green or environmentally friendly about it. They are not renewable! A solar panel does not make a new solar panel now can a turbine renew itself! It's a play on words!

I object entirely to this project due to the toxic impact it will have on our faming lands, our natural flora and fauna, and the endangered species of both. I object due to the failings of the Energy Connect project with no one wanting to hold responsibility for prior company's works, Energy Connect is an integral part of these plans. I object due to

Stop the green washing! This project will not lower retail electricity prices nor effect the climate even though it would add to CO2e emissions. Nor will it be reliable as it is dependent on highly variable weather conditions. This year my electricity cost was already 4.38 times greater than it was in 2019 for exactly the same consumption pattern and number of days. It rose every year despite changing to the lowest cost retail plans five times. Why? Because subsidised projects such as these cannibalise reliable near 24/7 base-load power plants. There are now low emissions high efficiency 24/7 base-load power plants being built around the world to meet emissions, affordability and reliability requirements. The Proponent knows this but is driven by profit regardless of the realties for Australians and the damage it will do to them and our businesses. Shame, shame, shame, shame!

Your faithfully
A Concerned Citizen

I oppose this project as it is just one of many that will cumulatively destroy our country life-style and country environment, which will be devastating for decades, including for tourists.

Despite decades of rolling out wind and solar plants in many countries the CO2 emissions still rise every year. Wind and solar projects, including this proposed project, just make no difference. I object to any project that costs me heaps for no benefit at all. Don't approve this useless project.

Your sincerely
An Unhappy Australian

I am writing to highlight the significant infrastructure concerns associated with the proposed turbine development. The construction of these turbines would necessitate extensive road building and other supporting infrastructure in previously untouched areas. This would not only lead to habitat destruction but also increase the risk of soil erosion, water contamination and fire.
The impact on our local infrastructure would be immense, and the long-term maintenance costs could burden our community. Please consider these serious infrastructure concerns and oppose the development plan.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to strongly oppose the turbine development on behalf of our community’s well-being. As I drive around the country side I see this area is built on a sense of peace, unity, and a deep connection to our natural surroundings. The introduction of industrial scale turbines would not only disrupt the physical landscape but also the social fabric of community.
The stress and division caused by such a large-scale development would be detrimental. We cherish our tranquillity and natural beauty of the open spaces. I urge you to protect our community by rejecting this proposal.

I am writing to object to the proposed turbines due to its potential impact on property values. Numerous studies have shown that the presence of industrial turbines can lead to a significant decrease in nearby property values due to visual and other environmental concerns.
As a homeowner, this is deeply troubling. The financial implications for residents/farmers could be severe, reducing the value of our investments and negatively impacting the local real estate market. I urge you to take this into account and reject the development plan. The endangered Plains wander is out these. A flightless ground nesting bird that roams the Plains to name just one.

This project consumes a large amount of agricultural land that can never be repurposed for cropping or Irragation or any type of improvement whether it be habit and vegetation or farming and food.
When I go to the aemo website checking regularly our energy generation and it is predominantly coal and gas with less than 30% turbine and solar generation.
The turbine and solar energy generating installations are only fit for use for 20 years at best.
I’m glad of the recent talks on Nuclear because if we are serious about food security and National security Nuclear will give us lower missions, electricity security and to stop covering productive farmland in unreliable renewables.
Electricity security + Food security = National security

What happens to all the blades when they need replacement. This is an enormous amount of turbines, With 3 blade each. 247 turbines that amount is huge, 749 blades. Where will this blade be stores until they can be a recyclability for the used blades.
They will end up in land fill.
