HVO North Open Cut Coal Continuation Project

I support this project as it provides me a stable full-time job which supports me in saving up for my first home and allowing me to live very comfortably in this challenging financial climate. I also believe it provides great support for the local community with numerous grants, royalties and giveback programs.

Hvo ( hunter valley operations ) has and will into the future support many local organisations, people and the local government.
Hvo is a major employer in the hunter valley region with a permanent work force, sub contractor work force and labour hire.
Without that employment hundreds, thousands of local people, family’s and businesses will be with out work

I support the project as it will keep jobs in the area and keep the local economy in a good health state.

The continuation of this project will strongly support my local community , my family and ensure a future for my kids.

I’m a young contractor at HVO and wish to build my future in the huntervally alongside freinds and family with this pit

The financial opportunities in our region for many outlays the environmental impact. The rehabilitation plans in place is another reason why I am in full support of our future in local mining in our region.

Hvo has been a major part of my family for 3 generations with my farther my daughter and myself all working here! We could not have had the life we have without HVO! Not only as wages but also sporting groups charity groups and community projects… i believe with all my heart this continuation is desperately needed not only by my family or my community but the entire state!!

Mining is an important part of the hunter culture in which I’ve been raised my entire life. I am new to the industry myself but I am awed at the opportunities the lifestyle has blessed me with. I am very pleased with the overview and planning HVO is claiming to achieve and I wish for the project to continue, whether I am within the company and/or the local community.

Good for the economy, Provides jobs for over 1500 people and contracting companies and they support charities

HVO is good for the economy in the local area of Singleton with a strong workforce employing over 1500 full time workers.

The project supports the local community in various ways not just the donating of money by providing jobs and pathways for people and businesses outside of direct mine employees the rehabilitation of all previously mined land and infrastructure the project is an integral part of the community and can be for many years to come

I work at HVO and believe continuing the project will benefit the local community financially as well as ongoing employment

The continuation of this project is vital. I myself have 3 young children under the age of 6 and my employment will provide my family with food, clothing, education etc for years to come. Hunter Valley Operations has the local communities best interest at heart and provides security and surety to its workforce. This continuation is essential to thousands of people.
