Brings lots of jobs to the community and funding like no other industry in Australia from just a single company

Working at hvo has helped me financially support myself and my family and will hopefully continue doing so for a long time. Been a great place to work and learn from my apprenticeship through to my retirement.

I work for an OEM employed fulltime in HVO's North. This project is crucial to my livelihood as well as may others in the industry.

I fully support the continuation of this project as it provides invaluable support to the local and national economy.

The HVO Continuation provides critical energy and income for our valley communities as we move towards other forms of power.
The extended timeframe of alternate energies confirms the criticality of HVO Continuation in maintaining our current standard of living.

HVO has given me the chance to become a full time employee to support myself and my family.
It's a great place to work and also great to see how many community projects HVO are involved in and also the amount of donations made to different charity organisations.
I would love to continue my mining career with HVO to continue to work local and come home safe every.

I am writing today to show my support for the HVO extension, I have recently started here on the blast crew as a contractor and am very impressed with the team we have here they are extremely supportive of me in bettering myself as a shotfirer I see massive potential here at hvo and many life skills to be obtained. The approval of the extension would secure myself and my family’s future in the hunter valley so they have my full support. Thank you

Australia needs jobs, the world still needs quality coal, the local area needs the income that these jobs provide. Personally I support many businesses in my area and would like to continue to support them. The Hunter Valley would suffer financially if this project is not successful

HVO is a company that provides many jobs and helps support families especially in this hard financially climate.
Without the massive financial injection in to the local economy the Hunter Valley wouldn't be a viable place to live as most jobs and companies would not be able to thrive as they do and also help provide further jobs.
To not approve this expansion would be a terrible political decision and would result in further financial strain on the already difficult situation the government is in. Thank you.

I have a young family and working for hvo enables me to support my kids and family

I support the continuation of the HVO North open cut for many reasons: Jobs, community support, rehab, roads.

Many families need the mine to keep operating this is why I support it.
But I think it’s critical to keep moving towards a
more viable energy source, as we know coal is not going to be here for ever and we should be proactive
towards helping the work force transition into other sectors.

I support the proposal for the ongoing economic benefits to the local area as well as the ongoing employment that hvo provides to many members of the community, both direct and indirect employment. The denial of this proposal would have significant impact on many local individuals and families due to the loss of ongoing stable employment the mine provides. It would also impact many local businesses that the mine directly supports as well as those supported by the employees themselves having significant economic impacts on the local area.

I support this project as it is a huge part of my family in support to provide and give to my kids education and learnings through there life, I beleive this extension will continue to boost the economy throughout the local area with the support that Hvo puts into local schools sporting and all other areas

The continuation of this project will provide myself and my family a positive future meaning we will have a job past 2028. The project will continue to boost the hunters economy with donations and funding to local businesses and provide local familys a positive future
