Mod 2 - Local Product Delivery

I refer to "Environmental Assessment to Support a S75W Modification of PA 07_0155" of June 2013 by R.W.Corkery & Co.Pty.Ltd.
This document is a biased read in order to procure the modification for the alternate routes on behalf of multiquip. Whilst many inaccuracies exist within its pages I will highlight but a few.
Page 10. Whilst the bridges are dealt with, culverts are not.eg. a four barrel culvert at the Oallen/Benduck Rd intersection is highly unlikely to carry the continuous traffic flow without a major upgrade and is only 5.1 metres in carriage way width. This also contradicts the page 9 assertation that Oallen Ford Rd is 7m wide in its entirety.
Tarago/Windellma Rd. The paper indicates 14.5 km of this rd
is unsealed. Yet environmental/amenity sections do not even mention dust impacts or controls!
General Comments.
Line of sight. Many crests and sharp corners exist along the proposed routes. Children board/disembark the school bus mostly from their property driveway which in the main cannot be easily observed from the rd. Any increase in traffic, especially heavy vehicle, can only add danger to these children and/or the school bus.
Road Width. These roads, simply put, are not wide enough in sections to allow heavy and light vehicles to pass with the expected degree of safety and will need to be widened to achieve this.
Accumulative Considerations. Since the opening of Main route 91(Nowra to Nerriga),traffic volume ,including caravan loads, has increased dramatically. Added to this is the increase in heavy vehicle movement within the region with dumping/quarrying sites being opened. All this traffic on country roads which, in the main,were not designed nor constructed with this volume of movement envisaged. Now it is proposed to have more "authorised " heavy vehicle loads on these barely sufficient alignments. Enough!!
