I object to this application and the entire project at this location. The failure of the proponent of this application fails to rectify the real problems associated with the excess traffic that this proposal will cause, there numbers of movement of containers means that one truck will move every 30 or so seconds. The current main road structure cannot cope with that increase in traffic

Why the Moorebank area? Why not improve what you have rather than shifting the problem somewhere else? I don't believe the area can handle the increase in traffic this will bring. Not to mention polluting the Georges River as well! This is an irresponsible proposal!

The damage it will do to the environment will be unrepairable.
The traffic it will cause in the area with all the trucks coming and going will be unbearable. Why it is not at Eastern Creek with all the new industrial area growing and links to all the major arteries. Not to mention the new airport

I am against the increase to height of Moorebank Ave for similar reasons to the above eg flooding and run off.
Talk of moving Moorebank Ave so it runs down the eastern side of this East Terminal brings this road closer to Wattle Grove residents adding more noise, light and pollution to these residents. I am opposed to the idea of this.
I believe the upgrading of intersections along Moorebank Avenue is insufficient for the increase in traffic the intermodal will produce. The upgrading of many more intersections around Liverpool and beyond is essential for this operation to operate smoothly as proven by independent and experienced road modellers.
It seems nobody whether in business or in politics seems willing to pay for this.

The fact that you wish to clear vegetation to make way for your proposed freight village and everything else associated with this site is scandalous to say the least.
Nor do I wish to have warehousing and distribution facilities on this site should, heaven forbid, you get the go ahead to build this monstrosity.
Our road are already at peak levels and no form of upgrades are going to remedy this situation.
I object most strongly to all your proposals and I can only hope and pray that this proposal is canned once and for all.
