1.My wife and I are in favour of the NW Rail Link.
2.We are in our mid seventies and have lived at the above address for 30 years and really do not wish to move.
With the above in mind we wish to comment as follows...
3.Traffic and parking in Franklin Rd are already difficult and any further traffic will be more chaotic..
Therefore we believe there should be no through traffic and locals can exit via County Drive or Edward Bennett Rd.,
The lights proposed at Franklin Rd would only be to access NW Rail Parking area as indicated.
4.A 7 AM start is too early as our families have jobs which many times does not get them home until 9 or 10 PM....Trucks and deliveries commence much before 7 AM as evidenced by the Tangara School development.
5.We feel there should be some piece and quiet at weekends therefore there should be no work over the weekends.
6.Despite arrangements to reduce dust and noise we still feel that there will be excessive dust particularly when a southerly is blowing.
These are our current concerns which we are happy to discuss with you.

TO: MAJOR PROJECTS ASSESSMENT
DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING & INFRASTRUCTURE
Please find attached signed Petition Re: Bella Vista Train Station. There are 4 pages attached all signed by the residents of Bella Vista Waters Estate. As you will see we are asking for reconsideration of the PROPOSED SITE LOCATION OR AT THE VERY LEAST a roof/dome to be constructed over the station to reduce noise once operational.
We are also very concerned about the amount of truck traffic that will be using Celebration Drive during construction. If our point number 2 could be implemented ie: the station site moved further along towards Memorial Avenue - then the truck traffic could use alternative roads and thus Celebration Drive would not be needed to be used during the construction period.
Please advise receipt of this email and the attachment.
Regards
Sandra Burke
