Nowra Riverfront Precinct

Proposal: The proposal seeks to rezone part of the Scenic Drive sub-precinct from MU1 Mixed Use Zone to SP3 Tourist Zone and change height controls; to support residential uplift in the Hyam Street and Bridge Road sub-precincts for increased residential density housing and visitor accommodation, and to integrate open space and public domain improvements through the Nowra Bridge Underpass project to enhance active transport connections. Approximately an additional 270 dwellings are proposed.
