I am fully supportive of the Bullawah wind farm project. The NSW state Government should be supportive of suitable renewable energy projects to combat climate change. These will assist in Australia to fulfill its commitment to the Paris Climate change agreement for zero admissions by 2050. Wind is one of the most cost-effective sources of electricity. Given the high price of electricity and the current cost of living crisis priority should be given to Wind projects. The Bullawah wind farm is to be situated on the Hay plains. This is the ideal location for a renewal energy project as it already hosts the main transmission lines from Sydney to Adelaide which are due to be doubled. The vastness of the flat landscape will be enhanced by the wind turbines. The turbine structures will also provide shade for animals from the harsh sun and temperatures. Given the low number of dwellings and residential population this is a desirable location. Additionally, the light road traffic through this area adds to the suitability of the location.

To Whom It May Concern

BayWa r.e. has proposed a plan to build the wind farm which allows local farmers to continue to graze stock and the growing of oil seed and cereal crops.
BayWa r.e. has made generous donations to the local community and will continue to grow the local community's economy, providing jobs for local tradesman and bringing new people to our community which will boost community morale.
BayWa r.e. has kept the local community updated with the project and welcomed any discussions regarding the building of the wind farm, working closely with locals ensuring the wind farm will not have any environmental impacts on the land they love and call home.
I am in full support of the Bullawah Wind Farm .

I am in full support of the Bullawah Windfarm project. There has been great thought into the planning and design of this project to allow the grazing of stock to continue and with minimal impact on the current farming practices of landholders. This will ensure the continuation and protection of our region’s long standing and well regarded agricultural industry.
This project will provide economical benefit not only to the township of Hay but also to our local region. There will be new jobs created during both the construction and operation of this Windfarm. This will in turn result in increase economic activity for local businesses and provide opportunities for locals who wish to reside in our community
I am fully supportive of the Bullawah Windfarm project and trust that BayWa r.e. will continue to work in collaboratively with the local landholders and communities for this proposed Windfarm.

Old technology - Europe's going nuclear
The turbines are unsightly on our beautiful unique landscape
Turbines use a lot of minerals extracted from our mines to produce
The blades of the turbines contains bisphenol A (BPA) a toxic substance that will pollute the surrounding soil and harm humans and animals.
the turbines will cause waste disposal problems when they are old and decommissioned.
