HVO North Open Cut Coal Continuation Project

I strongly support the continued operations of this open cut coal mine, as an employee of the business I see on a daily basis the large benefits that this operation brings to not only the local community but also state and federal governments. I have personally worked and live within the Hunter Valley coal industry for 20 years and I'm proud of the way our industry conducts itself.This includes not only safety but the environment and community in mind. Mining has played a large part in supporting myself, my wife and my 7 year old daughter and I trust the process will deliver on the continued support of this operation.

HVO provides an income for a huge amount of people within the community and gives back to the community in a positive and productive way at every opportunity. The site works with the local community to improve the opportunities available for adolescents moving in to the workforce

Continue jobs and keep communities alive

I believe the HVO north project should go through giving that we largely support the hunter valley community and I am also supported by the hunter valley operation which provides for my family in the local community

I have worked at HVO for the past 13 years. HVO supports my family and a lot of families and businesses in the local community.

HVO has a large contribution to the local economy growth, not only does it support hundreds of local employees. It also contributes to many local support groups and has many grants available. The rehabilitation process is second to none within the industry and I have no doubts, this highly structures organisation will continue to take the time and care to continue this scope of work.

I support this Project because I currently work there. I believe that the Local Community and the State in general needs the continuation for the employment benefits and Royalties it provides

I support the continuation of HVO as it will continue to support jobs in the Hunter Valley out to 2050 and as a result benefit the local economy in both the retail and hospitality sectors. Also with the rising cost of living, employment with HVO enables me to continue to provide a comfortable life for my young family.

I like working for hvo who not only supports myself and family, it provides alot of opportunity for our hunter valley region.

We need the continuation to go through to support mine and alot of other families around the valley

I believe that the HVO coal project is good for the community, NSW, NSW citizens and Australians.
Firstly it provides jobs, community projects and royalties. Which help NSW and Australia and advance. The environmental and culture plans that HVO/Glencore have in place for the future are of a excellent standard and I believe there combines with the benifits it provides in jobs and Royalties is a great Idea.

I support the Hunter Valley Operations continuation project as I believe that it provides the local community with lots of job opportunities as well as financial support for local businesses and groups. Due to the fact that the mine is not increasing the production amount I feel that it will not impact negatively on the local community.

I support this project because I believe we as a society have been given the gift of coal to be used for energy supply and should be utilised

I believe HVO project is good for Singleton area and NSW as a whole. Without the project there will be a lot of unemployed people which is no good for the state.
