I support the continuation project as this mine greatly effects my life and my families. Im currently employed by a company who sub contracts to HVO. We rely on the work given to our company by HVO. By NOT supporting this continuation project would cause a ripple effect from Direct employees, contractors and there families to local businesses, schools local infrastructure the list goes on.

The HVO operation supports both family and friends that are employed. The subsequent businesses within the hunter valley are highly supported by this operation. Discontinuation of the operation will have a huge negative impact on the community

I support this project as it will affect me directly.
I am a contractor at the mine and we have a contract maintaining the vegetation associated with water pipelines.
If the project doesn’t go ahead I will be financially effected.
Also the following on from the work we give local companies to keep our gear running and equipment needed to do the job there will stop as will.
Thank you

Hi, I’m Luke. I am a current HVO employee and I’m proud of it! This continuation project is critical to the state of NSW and to Australia as a nation.
They have approx 1500 employees. HVO are family orientated organisation. The workers on site at HVO are empathetic and caring even when family members are in need for love and support.

I support the project.
This project extension will support 1500 permanent jobs over the life of the mine.
Many local contractors will benefit from this project being approved.
The royalties from this project extension will fund schools, roads and hospitals.

I have worked at HVO as a permanent employee since 2004 and have seen many changes in the business but one thing that has not changed is how supportive HVO is to the local community. HVO supports the local community by employing hundreds of local people and also by utilising local businesses for additional labour and/or parts supply. HVO are always looking at ways to minimise disruption to the local community and environment. If HVO was to close this would have a devasting affect on local people and businesses. HVO continuation project should be approved for the people.
